ART TOURS

Art Scout's boutique tours offer a personalised service to help you discover what’s happening in the Adelaide art scene.

The Art Tours are all about sharing my passion for the visual arts. The boutique art tours seek to uncover Adelaide’s vibrant art scene for international, interstate and local visitors.

There is so much more to see than the cultural institutions in the CBD, yet those smaller galleries are sometimes difficult to find.

I have chosen some interesting galleries to visit around Adelaide. You will see contemporary art from emerging and established artists in some great galleries and studios.

Art Scout Tours run every Thursday and include pickup and drop from your central hotel or our pickup-point.

There is ample time to relax in between galleries, both over morning tea at an arty cafe, and later over lunch where you can sample fine South Australian wine at top local bistros!

Itinerary

The Tour visits 6–7 galleries and an artist's studio. At each gallery, you'll be given an overview of the exhibition, after which you will be free to wander through on your own.

Each tour also visits an artist’s studio. The artist takes us through their studio, often their home, and shows us how they work.

Private Tours

Private Tours can also be arranged and are designed to cater to your interests.

From 7–23 August '09, there is the 11th South Australian Living Artist Festival (SALA) tour. This fabulous festival showcases dozens of artists in unusual venues—many that only open their doors during this festival!

Tour itineraries may change to accommodate exhibition dates and artists’ availability.
